History
Prior to the park attaining Provincial Park status in 1965, Bridal Veil Falls was used to generate electricity in the early 1900s for the Bridal Falls Chalet. Today, only traces of the concrete foundation for the power generator can be found.
The community of Bridal Falls is named after the provincial park's gorgeous waterfall, which resembles a bride's veil. Over the years, Bridal Falls has evolved into a great all-round resort area, with family attractions that include Dinotown - a dinosaur theme park, water slides, a golf and country club, bumper boats, world renown gardens, and a large campsite with a pool. This is augmented by a mini mall that features a mineral display, restaurant, food store, two gift shops, antiques, an ice cream shop, and a gas bar.
Location
Bridal Falls is located on the south side of the Fraser River in the Fraser Valley, just 100 kilometres east of Vancouver and 16 kilometres east of Chilliwack. Take Exit 135 eastbound on the Trans-Canada Highway 1, or Exit 138 westbound.

- Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park
Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park is a scenic day-use area. The landscape encompassing the park is characterized by low elevation valleys and lush, rounded mountains. Visitors can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a "veil-like" effect.

A Jurassic family adventure with rides and stage shows that are fun for the whole family.
- Minter Gardens
A world class 27-acre show garden, featuring 11 themed gardens designed to dazzle the senses with fragrance and colour. Other surprises include topiary Victorian ladies and an English cottage.
- Trans-Canada Waterslides
Wet fun for all ages from June to September! Featuring the 125-metre (400-foot) Black Hole, tubing, and a giant hot tub.
Things to Do
- Paragliding
Bridal Falls is a world famous hanggliding and paragliding site that is soarable just about every fair weather day in the summer. There are multiple landing zones and two well-groomed launches: an upper and a lower, both of which require access by four-wheel-drive vehicles. The Lower Launch is only 20 minutes from Highway 1.
- Golf
Golfers have two courses to choose from in Bridal Falls: The Falls Golf and Country Club, a dramatic 18-hole, par-71 championship course with panoramic views of the Fraser Valley, Mount Cheam and the Coast Mountain Range, and the attractive 9-hole Mountain Brook Golf Course, which is set in a natural forest at the base of Cheam Mountain.

- Harrison Festival of the Arts
July - The Harrison Hot Springs Festival of the Arts is a celebration of music, theatre, dance and visual arts with a 30 year tradition.
- Tournament of Champions Sand Scultures / World Championship Sand Scultures
The Tournament of Champions Sand Sculpture competition in May and the World Championship Sand Sculpture competition in September both feature dazzling works of art on the beach. Sculptures from both events are on display until Thanksgiving in October.
- Chilliwack Pow Wow
The Chilliwack Pow Wow is a family event that attracts over 700 dancers, drummers, and singers. Champion dancers travel from Washington, Montana, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
