Experience: Spring Skiing at Mt. Seymour Resort

Family owned by the Woods since 1984, Mt Seymour Resort enjoys over 1,000 cm of snowfall every year. Located just minutes from downtown Vancouver, Mt Seymour boasted the deepest snowpack of any ski resort in Canada in 2013.

The Wood family pride themselves on staying true to the mountain's roots and creating a welcoming family atmosphere. They provide positive learning experiences, and develop internationally-recognized terrain parks. And with the recent installation of a $5 million Doppelmayr high speed quad chair, travel up the mountain has never been faster.

Mt. SeymourWith all these features, it's no secret that Mt Seymour is a top choice for winter recreation. But did you know they also offer some of the best spring season skiing around?

Early spring is known as a great time to learn to ski, with good snow conditions, longer days and more sunshine than you might expect. Many also experience shorter lift lines, and of course, it's a great time to work on your tan!

For daily updates on snow and weather conditions please download the Free Mt Seymour App from iTunes or Google Play or call our 24 hour Snow Phone at 604-986-2261 ext 1.

Visitors should remember that the road up the mountain is a Class 1 Highway, which means good winter tires are required up to April 30th. Or take the shuttle that runs between Lonsdale Quay, Parkgate Community Centre and Mt Seymour Resort for peace of mind.
