Lodging Profile: Lakeside Resort, Oliver

Oliver's Lakeside Resort is an Okanagan Classic! Since the 1940s families and holiday seekers have come year after year to enjoy warm weather, casual hospitality, and a gorgeous lakefront setting.Lakeside Resort

Located on a spring-fed oasis in Canada's true desert, the Lakeside Resort is only 4.5 hours east of Vancouver and 20 minutes north of the US border on Highway 97.

What keeps families coming back? The 500 foot private beach provides access to a lake that is safe, shallow, warm, clean - and power boats are NOT permitted!

Hop in one of their boats for a paddle on the lake (canoe, rowboats, and kayaks available for rent). Enjoy a self-guided cycling tour of nearby wineries, farms, and orchards. Plan a golf getaway at one of the nearby world-class golf courses. Take the kids to a nearby horse ranch for a Wild West experience. Or kick back with games of horseshoes and bocce close to home.

Lakeside Resort CyclingWhatever your level of activity, Lakeside Resort has accommodations to suit guests of all ages. Choose from suites with kitchenettes or cabanas (which are just like camping without the tent!).

Camping is also an option with 54 grassy, well-treed sites with water and power and 11 gravel full hook-up sites. All campers have access to clean and bright washrooms with hot coin showers.

It's no wonder that for over 70 years this retreat has brought smiles to the faces of visitors from all over the world - and keeps them coming back. With recreation and relaxation at your fingertips, and free WiFi to boot, the Lakeside Resort in Oliver is the perfect summer getaway.
