Cabins and on-site RV rental units such as park models or trailers are becoming more popular with families who want to enjoy the camping experience without having to purchase their own RV, motorhome or tent-trailer.

Cabins are usually simple in design with four walls and a roof with modern bunks. You bring the sleeping and cooking equipment and use the facilities at the campground for showering and other services.

Some campgrounds may have fully furnished cottages for rent which include a kitchen, bathroom, sleeping areas and amenities such as private shower, TV, air-conditioning and microwave. For advice on lodging visit, lodging FAQs.

Fully equipped travel trailers on-site are also available for rent at some campgrounds where you only bring your own linens.
