Haywire Bay Regional Park & Campground

Take a dip in the pristine waters of Powell Lake or launch a small car-top boat from our shores. Strap on your hiking boots or grab your mountain bike to explore our remote backcountry.

  • Campsite Rates: Tenting $23/night per unit; Seniors Rate $21/night per unit Group site $130/night up to 10 units /$15/night each add'l unit
  • Pets Permitted:
  • Pet Policy and Rates: Pets no charge, must be kept on leash, do not leave unattended. Pets not allowed on beaches.
  • Driving Directions: To access the park from the BC Ferry Terminal in Westview: turn left onto Marine Avenue/Hwy 101 at the stop light at the top of the hill coming off the ferry. Turn right on Alberni Street, turn left on Manson Avenue and then right on Cassiar Street. Cassiar Street veers left and turns into Yukon Street. Stay on Yukon until you reach Haslam Street and turn right on Haslam. Follow Haslam and veer left on Inland Lake Road. Continue on the gravel road and follow the signs to reach the park. To access the park from the BC Ferry Terminal at Saltery Bay: stay on Hwy. 101 as you come off the ferry until you reach the downtown city core of Powell River. The highway turns into Marine Avenue. Follow Marine through downtown and turn right at the stop lights on Alberni Street. Turn left on Manson Avenue and then right on Cassiar Street. Cassiar Street veers left and turns into Yukon Street. Stay on Yukon until you reach Haslam Street and turn right on Haslam. Follow Haslam and veer left on Inland Lake Road. Continue on the gravel road and follow the signs to reach the park.
