The Quatse Salmon Stewardship Centre will open your eyes to the world of west coast salmon. Exhibits tell the story of how salmon emerge from bright orange eggs in the late winter and spring and find their way to the ocean. You will learn about the challenges that salmon face on their way from freshwater habitats such as rivers, lakes and streams into the wide ocean environment. Exhibits feature estuarine and ocean habitats and a live aquarium allows you to see eye to eye with salmon fry and smolts.
