Northern BC Lodging

The vastness of Northern British Columbia provides a rugged wilderness that lends itself to amazing wildlife viewing opportunities, pristine parks and a host of recreation activities.

The Northeastern area of this land includes Prince George, the unofficial capital of northern British Columbia. Southeast is the town of McBride and an excellent starting point for exploring the stunning Robson Valley. North is Mackenzie and Hudson's Hope and the amazing WAC Bennett Dam. Further east lies Fort St. John and Dawson Creek.

Heading west is Vanderhoof, Fort Fraser and Smithers with the snow-capped Hudson Bay Mountain and plenty of outdoor activities to appeal to everyone. Further west is The Hazeltons with the world-renowned First Nations heritage site, ‘Ksan Historical Village and Terrace with its abundance of history. On the coast lies Prince Rupert, a thriving port set amid the coastal rainforest.

Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) has lush rainforests and endless beaches and celebrates its Haida Culture through the Haida Heritage Centre.
