Passing through historic sites and villages will bring you face to face with diverse people, unique art, centuries old stories and fascinating history. Witness the province's most beautiful and awe-inspiring scenery as you travel over land through the heart of the province and sail the Inside Passage down through the coast's magnificent fjords and rainforests.

Princeton

Princeton is beautifully nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, in the heart of the Similkameen Valley and at the junction of the Tulameen and Similkameen rivers. The mountains, valleys, and hundreds of kilometers of backcountry roads are a beautiful natural setting for all outdoor activities. The two rivers and 49 lakes in the area make Princeton a prime destination in all four seasons.

Embark on your hiking or biking exploration of the Trans Canada Trail right in Princeton. To the west, follow the Tulameen River through tunnels and over bridges to the communities of Coalmont, Tulameen, and Brookmere. To the east, the higher elevation takes you through grasslands, lakes, and forests. Enjoy the spectacular views as you make your way towards Osprey Lake.

The Princeton Golf Club boasts a challenging 18-hole course and a renovated Clubhouse and Pro Shop. Princeton has over 30km (19mi) of X-country ski trails at China Ridge and in the summer, visitors can pan for gold in the rivers right in town.
