Private Aircraft

Prior to leaving a foreign airport, you should advise customs by calling 1-888-226-7277, at least two hours, but not more than 48 hours, before flying into Canada. If your flight starts outside the geographical areas covered by this number, call one of the following numbers:

  • Lansdowne, Ontario (613) 659-4576
  • Hamilton, Ontario (905) 679-2073
  • Windsor, Ontario (519) 967-4320
  • Victoria, British Columbia (250) 363-0222

Customs recommend you choose the number closest to your point of arrival.

Hours of service vary by airport depending on the need for local services and seasonal demand. Contact one of our customs officers before you leave to see if service is available outside regular hours. If service is not available, you will have to divert to another airport for customs clearance.
