Taking the Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park route from Mount Currie to Lillooet takes you past numerous lakes and is a favourite highway for the avid fisher. The route takes the visitor to the town of D’Arcy, which houses the Anderson Lake fish hatchery.

Attractions/Activities

Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park is nestled in the Coast Mountains. Located 22 km West of D’Arcy. The park protects important habitat for a variety of wildlife, including spotted owls, mountain goats, black bears and grizzly bears. Old growth forests, subalpine and alpine environments, large and small lakes all contribute to the park's diversity.
Anderson Lake fish hatchery.The hatchery proves that adult sockeye salmon are the most avid visitors to the region.
