Richmond

Cradled between the north and south arms of the Fraser River directly south of Vancouver, Richmond is the “Island City by Nature”. It’s home to the Vancouver International Airport, as well as fertile farms and expansive parkland that offers great walking and wildlife viewing. • Richmond Art Galley, Arts Centre and Museum. In the heart of downtown, they form the core of the city’s thriving arts and cultural community.
• Richmond Nature Park and Nature House. A preserved bog environment and wildlife displays, and exhibits on Westminster Highway.
  
• Historic Fishing Village of Steveston. Many fascinating heritage sites and exhibits. Unique gift shops, restaurants, whale watching excursions, and the Fisherman's Wharf, which includes fishers selling seasonal seafood and fish right from their vessel decks.
• Golden Village, The Asian Gem of BC. Best known for its excellent Asian restaurants, markets, and cultural festivities.
