COVID-19 Guidance for Campgrounds, RV Parks and Resorts with Cabins, Cottages and Glamping

This document outlines essential guidelines that these type of businesses should adopt as they look at developing their own safety plan to restart or ramp up operations post the COVID-19 pandemic.

The guidance has been developed by the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association using BC Centre for Disease Control, Canadian Camping and RV Council, go2HR, WorkSafe BC, BC Hotels Association, BC Backcountry Lodge Association, BC Parks, and the BC Fishing Tourism Association guidelines.

Working with key stakeholders, the BC Hotels Association has developed essential guidelines to assist you in developing your own plan to restart or ramp up operations for Phase 3 of the restart plan.

WorkSafe BC Guidelines and Requirements

WorkSafe BC requires employers to develop a COVID-19 Safety Plan that outlines the policies, guidelines, and procedures they have put in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Employers are not required to submit plans to WorkSafe BC for approval, but in accordance with the order of the Provincial Health Officer, this plan must be posted at the worksite.
