With some 40 participating campgrounds in British Columbia to choose from there is something for everyone from full facility RV resorts to more rustic experiences. Some of the regions you can find them are: Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast, Okanagan, Kootenay Rockies, Cariboo and up to Prince George.

As part of Canadian RVing and Camping Week, GoRVing Canada has partnered once again with Make-A-Wish® Canada who help wishes come true for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

2017 Wish Recipient Parker

2017 Wish Recipient Parker

This year, GoRVing Canada has chosen to grant a Wish to Parker. Parker is a six-year-old boy with T-lymphoblastic Lymphoma who says “camping is my favourite thing to do” and wants to camp, fish and explore Canada in a pop-up camper. In 2017 we are hoping to raise $20,000 across the country so let’s see if we can make that happen.

Campers who want to donate to help Parker’s wish come true can purchase a $2.00 Wish star at participating campgrounds. Then campers will join together for some fun and take part in the largest coordinated Marshmallow Roast on Saturday, May 27 at 10:00pm.

This is also Canada’s 150th birthday with celebrations across the country. So what are you waiting for? Come and experience what the outdoors is all about and book your BC camping trip now. Campgrounds are looking forward to hosting you as the summer season gets underway.
