Cumberland Lake Park Campground
Located on beautiful glacier-fed Comox Lake, Cumberland Lake Park offers sandy beaches, swimming float, concessions, campground with serviced and unserviced sites, group campsite, boat launch, dock and hiking trails. The park is operated by the Cumberland Lake Wilderness Society (CLWS) a non-profit organization that takes care of the lake and all of its guests! Come and enjoy this family-oriented campground.

Park Terms and Conditions
We welcome you to the park and appreciate your cooperation in observing the following guidelines.
Failure to abide could result in being asked to leave the park without refund.
Registration: All campers must arrive prior to 10pm. Full payment due at time of booking for all reservations. Method of payment: VISA, MasterCard, Debit, Cash. Check in time is 1:00 pm; Check out time is 11:00 am. Each site includes 1 picnic table, 1 fire pit, and 2 vehicles (including camping unit). Maximum group size is 8 people, with a minimum of 1 adult (19+) and a maximum of 4 adults (19+) staying on-site. Three (3) night minimum for long weekend reservations.
Office Hours: Hours for July and August are 10am to 6pm. Services available include ice and firewood sales as well as campsite reservations. No after hours sales are available.
Pets are welcome BUT must be leashed at all times in the park and not left unattended. Pets are not allowed at the public beach swimming areas. Failure to control and/or clean-up after your pet could result in being asked to leave the park.
Campsites must be maintained in a neat and tidy condition and campers are responsible for any damages caused. Please place garbage and recyclables in the containers provided. Do not move to another campsite without prior approval.
Sewer and grey water: Please pour grey water in the outhouses, NOT on the ground or in the lake. For sewage, please use the sani station at the Gas n’ Go in Cumberland.
Campfires must be contained in the fire ring provided and attended at all times. Do not move fire rings without approval. Cutting or removal of trees/branches is not permitted. Firewood is available for purchase at the office.
Restrictions: Generator use is permitted between the hours of 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Fireworks, firearms or unlicensed vehicles are not allowed. Damage to, collection or removal of any natural resources is prohibited. Motor vehicles, including motorcycles, ATV's and similar vehicles, are restricted to the vehicle roads and parking lots, and may be used only for entering and exiting the grounds.
Alcoholic Beverages: Liquor consumption is prohibited anywhere in the park, with the exception of your campsite. Rowdiness and drunkenness are not tolerated.
Quiet time is 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. Any excessive noise or abusive language/behaviour will not be tolerated at any time. Please be courteous and considerate of other park users and campers. Failure to abide will result in the RCMP being contacted.
Visitors please park in the designated public parking lots and be aware that park gates close at 10:00 pm. All visitors must leave by 11:00 pm.
The boat launch gate is open from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm and boat launch passes (day/season) must be purchased at the office before launching. Overnight/day dock moorage is prohibited. Limited overnight trailer parking is available in the main public parking lot on a first-come first-serve basis, please check-in with the office before parking your vehicle and trailer overnight.
Liability: Management reserves the right to refuse anyone. Management will not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, loss or damages due to fire, theft, accident or act of God. Please inform the nearest staff member of any concerns or misconduct occurring within the park. Camp hosts or park staff are on-site 24/7 and can be reached after-hours. Dial 911 for emergencies.
The public beach and playground is unsupervised, swim and play at your own risk, children should be under the supervision of an adult.
More than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date: full refund.
Less than 7 days before your scheduled arrival date: one night’s camping fee will be forfeited.
Day of arrival cancellation: two night’s camping fee will be forfeited. Any remaining camping fees will be refunded.
Reservations are held until 11 AM of the day after the scheduled arrival date. If you do not notify the park directly of a late arrival, your reservation will be cancelled, all reservation and camping fees will be forfeited, and the park operator will have the right to give the site away to another visitor.
Refunds are not given for an eviction, vacating your campsite early, or due to inclement weather.
