Introduction

Your privacy is important to BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association. The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association uses the information collected to fulfill your requests, to perform market research, to promote our Member and Partner's consumer products, and to provide further information to you about our members, partners and our province.

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association uses Simpleview Inc.to host all of our user data. We make extensive use of their built-in security features to protect your data against remote access.

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association endeavours to keep written information in a secure place. The office is locked and alarmed when closed. Information that is stored electronically, is password-protected and available only to those members of our staff who require it.

For Reservation Services

The BC Lodging and Campground Association uses Nomad Reservations. Nomad Reservations secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Nomad Reservations uses the following methods for this purpose:

i) In Transit: SSL Protocol

Campground information, reservations, and personal information are all encrypted at rest.

Children Under Thirteen

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.

Disconnecting your BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association Account from Third Party Websites

You will be able to connect your BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association account to third party accounts. E-mail Communications

From time to time, Nomad Reservations on behalf of BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, Nomad Reservations may receive a notification when you open an email from BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association or click on a link therein.
