Heading north on Hwy 99 (Sea to Sky Highway) towards Lillooet, continue straight on in Mount Currie onto Pemberton Portage Road. Continue for approximately 37 km (23 mi) to D'Arcy.

Things to See and Do
  • Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park

    Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park is nestled in the Coast Mountains, located 22 km West of D'Arcy. The park protects important habitat for a variety of wildlife, including spotted owls, mountain goats, black bears and grizzly bears. Old growth forests, subalpine and alpine environments, large and small lakes all contribute to the park's diversity.

  • Fishing

    D'Arcy is located on Anderson Lake and popular with the avid fisher. Home to the Anderson Lake Fish Hatchery which focuses on the release of sockeye salmon and the enhancement of Kokanee. This can be viewed between mid-August to mid-September.

  • Heritage Beach

    There are many recreational opportunities on Anderson Lake. A public dock on the south end of the lake provides access to the water plus there is a sandy beach known as Heritage Beach that offers swimming, picnic tables and beautiful views of Anderson Lake.
