As more people discover the joy of exploring the outdoors, it’s more important than ever to protect the places we love. That’s where the Camper’s Code comes in. By following these guidelines, we can all help preserve our wild spaces—and make sure every camping trip is as peaceful and enjoyable as the last.

The Camper’s Code, initiative launched in 2021 and proudly supported and promoted by the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association, guides travelers on how to camp responsibly, ultimately benefiting not just campers but also operators, animals, and nature.
