There are those that want to “really” experience the winter outdoors – the true adventurists who avidly enjoy winter activities and must camp in a tent. Then there are those who want the comfort of an RV but still enjoy the challenge of winter. This site represents RV Parks open for business for the winter RVer.

British Columbia is growing as a winter camping destination with RV Parks and campgrounds now offering year-round camping opportunities. Vancouver Island, Thompson Okanagan and the Vancouver, Coast and Mountains regions have the mildest temperatures and offer the greatest choice for winter camping in BC.

Weekly and monthly rates are available and cheaper than the high summer season, with parks offering quieter RV sites in a predominantly adult environment. Many year-round RV Parks and Resorts have a clubhouse where Snowbirds can mingle for pot luck suppers and other events. Walking trails, local attractions and other activities are usually close by.

If you are a full time RVer, why not bring your motorhome, fifth wheel or travel trailer and make British Columbia your Canadian winter camping destination of choice!

Need more information on what to expect when winter camping? The Camping and RVing BC Coalition blogs, written by winter camping enthusiasts like you, contain great information on their winter experiences, from the first time RVer’s perspective to great places to visit; and some advice on winter things to do. https://www.campingrvbc.com/category/activities/winter-activities/
