Thank you to everyone who joined in and placed bids in this year’s Care Camps Silent Auction! With your incredible support, we raised $7,200 to help send kids affected by cancer to specialized oncology camps, where they can laugh, play, and enjoy the magic of the great outdoors—far away from hospital visits and treatments.

Your generosity makes a real difference in these families’ lives and reminds us how powerful our camping and outdoor community can be when we come together. We’re so grateful for your kindness and can’t wait to do it all again next year!

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) is proud to support Care Camps Foundation (Canada). Working together, for the past four years, BCLCA’s Care Camps donation supporters have helped raise more than $21,000.00.

Care Camps allows children living with cancer to enjoy the joy, healing and freedom that comes from attending specialized oncology camps where they can just-be-kids.  The camp experience equips them with the skills necessary to meet the challenges they will face while fighting their disease. It costs nearly $2,000 per child per week to provide this life-changing experience.
