Canadian RVing and Camping Week

MAY 23 – 28, 2023 TO JOIN THE CELEBRATION!

Canadian RVing and Camping Week is designed to encourage Canadians and international visitors to get outside to enjoy a fun, safe and secure camping experience with family and friends.

The week is organized and sponsored by the Canadian Camping and RV Council and supported by the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association. 

The celebration marks the official kickoff of Canada’s summer camping season. Canadian park owners put their own twist in celebrating the return of their campers during the week, it may be through events, discounted overnight fees, or fun activities.

Each year, the RVing and camping week supports a good cause. The proceeds gathered benefit Care Camps, a charity that helps children with cancer enjoy camping while spending time in nature.

BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) are proud to report we collectively raised $7,975.00 in 2022 for Care Camps of Canada.  The funds were raised from our BCLCA Members, Auction 22, (which was held in May) and from other donations received.  We could not have done this without your continued support.  The 2022 amount raised meant we were able to send 4 children to a specialized oncology camp – a place where these kids can forget about the chemo, the radiation, and all the hard stuff that comes with cancer…. and just be a child again.  

The 2023 ONLINE Auction is full of items to bid on and started at 9 am on May 1, 2023, and runs until 9 pm on May 31st.

British Columbia Campgrounds and RV Parks that are participating in 2023 are located on the map, and you can contact them directly by clicking on the map pins below.  Please support them throughout the year. Reservations are recommended.
