Canadian RVing and Camping Week

May 21st – 26th, 2024 the kick off to summer season!

Canadian RVing and Camping Week is designed to encourage Canadians and international visitors to get outside to enjoy a fun, safe and secure camping experience with family and friends.

The week is organized and sponsored by the Canadian Camping and RV Association and proudly supported by the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association. It’s even recognized annually by the Province of British Columbia who issue a proclamation to proclaim “RVing and Camping Week”. 

GO CAMPING EXPERIENCE

• Campers know that camping provides the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in nature, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and fresh air.
• Campers know camping is where families can affordably gather to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate the natural world.
• Campers know camping outdoors in British Columbia offers a sense of tranquility and wellness that is hard to find in any urban environment.

British Columbia Campgrounds and RV Parks that are participating and/or sponsoring by way of a auction donation or monetary donation in 2024 are located on the map feature below and you can contact them directly by clicking on the map placemark pins.  Please consider supporting them throughout the year. Reservations are recommended.

SENDING CHILDREN WITH CANCER TO CAMP

Each year, RVing and Camping Week supports a charitable cause and since 2021 the BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association have committed to supporting Care Camps of Canada, a charity, which helps children battling cancer attend a specialized Oncology Camp.  

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association 2024 annual online auction closed on May 20^th and raised $4,959, for a running total of $21,537. It is not too late to contribute as people can directly donate to the cause, just tap and donate.

2024 CAMPING APPRECIATION WEEKEND SEPTEMBER

Many of these Campground/RV Parks will also participating in “Camping Appreciation Weekend 2024” from September 6 – 8, 2024.
