Canadian RVing and Camping Month

Thank you for celebrating Canadian RVing & Camping Month with us!

From June 1 to June 30 2025, campers and RVers all across BC and Canada kicked off summer by living the spirit of Explore • Camp • Connect. Your love of adventure, care for the Camper’s Code, and big-hearted support for Care Camps made this month extra special. From fun campground events to great deals and generous fundraising—together we showed just how amazing our camping community is. This year, we’re thrilled to share that we raised over $7,200 through the BCLCA Online Auction to help send kids with cancer to camp—what a way to make a difference!

ABOUT CANADIAN RV AND CAMPING MONTH

The month, organized and sponsored by the Canadian Camping and RV Association, is supported by the Camping and RVing BC Coalition to:

1. Promote the lifestyle associated with camping and RVing a beloved part of Canadian culture. A national campground directory is available courtesy of Go RVing Canada.
2. Promote responsible behaviour and respect by asking people to follow and take the Camper’s Code pledge.
3. Raise funds to send children with cancer to camp via the charitable organization Care Camps Foundation (Canada). 2025 BCLCA Online Care Camps Auction bidding live until June 22nd.

Since 2015, RVing and Camping Week (now known as RVing and Camping Month) has been recognized annually by the Province of British Columbia who have issued a proclamation to proclaim the event “2025 RVing and Camping Month”. 

2025 BRITISH COLUMBIA CAMPING MONTH PARTICIPANTS

Campgrounds and RV Parks in British Columbia that contribute to the 2025 fundraising for the Care Camps Foundation (Canada), either through auction donations or direct monetary support, are marked on the map below. We encourage consumers to support these businesses year-round and get in touch with them directly by clicking on the map’s placemark pins. Reservations are recommended.

SUPPORT THE CAUSE – SENDING CHILDREN WITH CANCER TO CAMP

The BC Lodging and Campgrounds Association’s annual online Auction has raised more than $21,500 over the past four years and closed on June 22 with a total of $7,200 raised, more than the $7,000 5th year goal. You can contribute directly, to donate to the cause, just tap and donate.
