Muncho Lake, Alaska Hwy
Toad River is located at Historical Mile 422 on the Alaska Highway in Northern British Columbia between Muncho Lake and Stone Mountain Provincial Parks. Situated near the confluence of the beautiful turquoise waters of Toad River and Racing River, anglers can do a spot of fishing for Northern Pike, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling. Muncho Lake Provincial Park has stunning views of folded mountains, wildlife, brightly-coloured wildflowers and the jade waters of the lake. Stone sheep and caribou are frequently seen on the road.
Toad River is 188 km (117 mi) north of Fort Nelson on the Alaska Hwy 97.
